Welcome to Our Home Page

Woodworking has always been a hobby of mine so Geri and I built our shop in 1992.

A friend and I built all of the projects for the book titled "Projects for the Router" and I built a 'Quick Closet' for the book titled "Closets, Chests and Boxes".

Geri and I love genealogy and have researched our family history extensively.

We have combined the two interests by handcrafting Crosses and Picture frames with the engraved names, birth & death years of our ancestors.  We are open to any other suggestions.

We currently use 15 different exotic woods, by itself or mixed, to enhance the Cross or Frame.

The woods we use, when available, are Bloodwood, Bocote, Bubinga, Cherry, Cocobolo, Mahogany, Narra, Red Oak, Padauk, Purpleheart, Redheart, Rosewood, Walnut, Wenge and Zebrawood.  These can be view on our Wood Sample page. We will work with any other wood by request.

Example:  A Cross could be made of Walnut with a Cherry border around it.  There is a picture of this on the Catalog Page.

Each wood by itself looks good but by adding a contrasting border with 4 coats of a natural stain enhances its beauty.

There are pictures showing some of we have handcrafted.  We do sell these items and will quote prices for any requests.

Please visit our Catalog page for gift items, Wood Sample Page for wood color samples, Contact Page for your comments, Favorite links page and please sign in to our Guest Book .
